ENVIRONMENTAL SANITATION PRACTICES AMONG RURAL COMMUNITY

Introduction: Proper sanitation promotes health, improves the quality of environment and thus, life in a community. Sanitation refers to safe collection, transportation, treatment disposal human wastes. Methodology: In this pre-experimental study, 200 households rural age group 20-60 years were selected as samples for study by using total enumeration sampling technique. The data was collected observational checklist on sanitation. Data analysis performed descriptive statistics inferential statistics. SPSS-17 software used P values less than 0.05 considered significant. Result: pre test [mean=12.2, SD=2.2], majority had poor practices post [mean =25.9, SD=3.0], good practices. Discussion: result shows that regarding after implementation HEALTH EDUCATIONon calculated at level significance. So, it concluded EDUCATION has effect improve average
